For my costumes I considered the type of audience the film is for and the type of youth it is about. I also studied the types of clothing found in other similar films and came to the conclusion that a hooded jacket is a good choice, with its connotations of crime and danger from the stereotypes of youth, with baggy jeans to go with it.
I also drew some basic t-shirt/jeans combinations for the inside sections.
