1) Opened my chosen images in Photoshop.

2) Flipped the canvas so the model faces inwards using the "flip canvas horizontal tool".

3) Using the magic wand tool, I selected the background and deleted it. It's now ready to move onto the background image.

4) I moved the image onto the background image.

5) Using the the magic wand tool I selected the sky of the background image, using the zoom tool for the trickier areas. Once it was all selected, I used the "color balance" tool to edit the colours. This creates a more red-tinted image, evoking more emotional response and connotations of danger and excitement.

6) I also used the "Brightness/contrast" tool to darken the sky further, making it look moodier and more dangerous.

7) Using the text tool, I then added the film title "Young Adults" to the image in the simple-looking Trebuchet font.

8) Using the text tool again, I then added several of the themes of the film to the sky to showcase what the film was about, similar to the pictures in the head on the Bullet Boy poster. I then used changed the opacity to make the effect more subtle, so they are only just visible.

9) Using the text tool once again, I added quotes from critics to the sky.

10) I then added the slogan, age rating and the other information in their respective appropriate sizes using the text tool.
